MELBOURNE ILP FUNDRAISING EFFORTS

This post is to serve as a record of the Melbourne side of ILP's fundraising efforts thus far.

Whilst our aim predominantly has been to raise money solely for ILP objectives we also began to collect towards the Mount Merapi Volano disaster which occurred in Jogyakarta in October, 2010. Money collected to this end was donated to two local organisations in Jogyakarta; Samsara and IDEP. We will have a full report regarding how funds were used in the ongoing recovery effort soon.

ILP Melbourne conducted a Mt. Merapi donation drive at various locations including the Melbourne Bike Festival and Lauz's opening at nine on seven Art Space in November 2010.
In November 2010 ILP held RIDE BERSAMA- a collective BBQ, Art market and bike ride.  Art, Food and Donations were made and collected for this event.

In January 2011 Judas Feast was held at Fortuna Mansion. ILP hosted 30 guests for a
4 course vegan feast on a hot Summer's day.

ILP held an Art Market stall at Ladykillaz Festival in May 2011.
